It will do
Fabric feels cheap, hems look messy. I followed the size guide, and the top half is way too big, but the bottom half is too snug and rides up. Getting it tailored will be more feasible than returning for another size that would also need to be tailored. Good quality dress, fit is too loose
Gorgeous dress, fits a little loose. I am shorter and more muscular and the tie around the neck is too long. With some minor adjustments, this dress will work great for my photos. - Product Rating: 2 of 5 stars
Not quite for me
I really liked the design of the dress and how it looked on the model but the material was cheap and the dress did not sit on my body as expected. I have an athletic build with a small waist and larger thighs/glutes. There was too much fabric around the waist and not enough room around the hips and butt (if you have these proportions, this dress won't work unless you take in the waist). Too long.....really cost for 7 inches neing hemmed

Black Halter Maxi Dress
Black Halter Maxi Dress fits a little loose around the back & sides under bust area but overall is a comfortable & very pretty dress. I received a lot of compliments on the dress. It was perfect for cocktail, formal, wedding guest attire. Definitely recommend this beautiful dress!

For reference, I am 5'7 and 145lbs. I wore no bra (you could see my nipples if I was cold but you would have had to be looking really hard as the dress is black which helped with that) and I wore "no-show" underwear. I tried the dress on with a regular thong underwear too and you couldn't see the lines either.
