Not flattering.
I usually wear a small 2 or 4. I was ordering for my daughter who is about an 8 and the same height and bust, I ordered a medium for her. I could see it looked small, so tried it myself. The waistline is high and tight around the ribs and just fit me. I could barely zip it on her. The neckline is very pretty, and the dress is well-made, but the skirt is very full.
