I wore this dress to a wedding in Bali, the material is heavier than you think, so while not ideal for the extreme heat and humidity it would be perfect for any and every other event not held outside in 100degrees and 100% humidity. I had the length altered by 2inches to fall just above my 3in heels - I'm a little shorter and didn't want to trip however if are taller than 5'4" I think you'd be fine. Doesn't fit as expected

Beautiful dress & great fit!
I fell in love with this dress when I saw it, and it did not disappoint when I received it. The fit is perfect for me, except the length; it was too long for me - I chose to hem it instead of trying to wear heels. This is a nice quality, lined satin that drapes beautifully.
