    Thrilled until I wasn't

    I ordered the olive green. It was a lovely color! The fit was true to size. My complaint is the craftsmanship. Since this is a one-shoulder, I would have expected the strap to be more durable. The second time I tried on the dress (of course, after I cut off the return strip), the strap snapped! Thankfully, I have basic seamstress skills and was able to repair it myself - but I was definitely disappointed. The weight of the dress is much too heavy... Read More

    Heavy fabric, high slit

    The velvet was heavier than I expected, but not in a good way. It would have been way too hot for the late fall wedding I purchased it for. The slit was very high and with my wide hips, any sudden movement would have me flashing strangers. This fits a little larger than other XL Lulus dresses, so I would size down if you are between sizes.

    Dress is gorgeous

    I love the dress, I am usually an XL but I liked the fit of the L better. This dress is not super stretchy but it has a little give and the material is gorgeous.
