    Dress for event

    I needed a dress for a 1920s theme party and thought this would be perfect. It's very tight in the hips and doesn't have a lot of stretch. It is a gorgeous dress and has beautiful beading.

    Very cute, looks like the pictures.

    I like this dress, but I feel it runs small on me. Specifically the bottom part. It's very tight on me. So the opening in the leg does not look like it looks on the model in the pictures but more like a bodycon. This is, of course, because of the way my body is built. But if you have a big booty and legs, you might have the same issue as me. Overall, it's a very cute dress and true to the pictures. The top part fits true to size for me.

    Came defective and can't return

    Upon opening the dress, it had missing sequins and loose threading. Although I bought it as final sale - I assumed it was a new dress, not a defective one. Also, it's very cheaply made and the top doesn't sit right. Very disappointed that this dress was sold being that it's not a ''new'' dress. There was no way anyone would have missed the missing sequins on the dress before shipment.

    Hard Pass

    I wanted to love this dress, but the cut of it did nothing for me. I'm 41, 5'3" and about 120 lbs. The small was very tight through my hips and butt, though it fit everywhere else. The medium was so big it just hung on me like a bag. It didn't really accentuate my body at all. This went back immediately.

    So pretty and easy

    I'm usually a 4/6 and often a medium in Lulu's stuff but fit into this in small. I am small-chested it's very straight across at the chest/neckline so might cut off circulation there for someone with a larger chest. The paillettes are so so pretty and since they are clear/black looking they are more subtle but still have lots of shine/sparkle. I love this dress. It's easy to wear.

    Sequins are tough

    Loved the dress but it wasn't proportioned very well at the bust making the sequins bunch up and add volume to the waist.

    Disappointed

    Hello! I am a huge fan of Lulu and most things fit great and I love them. I ordered a small, to begin with, and I could not zip it, so I started a return to exchange it for a medium. The medium zipped up but did not look good. Too loose, and the worst part was, that the top part (above the chest) folded backward revealing the lining behind it in a loose and sloppy way.     Not for the pear shaped

    Ordered my normal size small, but was too big on top and a little too small on the bottom. Not a good fit for those of us who are more pear-shaped. Very fun dress. Some sequins did not lay flat near the bust but I would have kept it if it fit better.
