Plus size perfection
So I am in my best friends wedding coming up in November and she wanted everyone to wear their favorite style of Lulus burgundy color. I was very worried because I am plus size (wearing between a 16-18) and very busty. I found this dress and saw it didn't Have a zipper which was good because the XL is a 14. I got it in the mail and was so excited to find it fit perfectly and with some careful tying, I was able to find the perfect style. - Product Rating: 5 of 5 stars
Perfection!
The material is really nice. It is thick enough so I didn't feel exposed, but is also so comfortable and lightweight! It is hard for me to find a good fit for my smaller build, but larger bust. This worked perfectly. I used some tape as a make-shift bra, but could probably pull it off without it. I wore it to a formal wedding as a v-neck with the straps crossed in the back. No need to alter - perfect fit, so comfortable, and so versatile!
I was on a time crunch to get a burgundy dress for a wedding and didn't have time to hem, so I purchased a ton to try (literally $1000 on 11 dresses) - I'd say I'm an athletic build, but wide rib cage and I hate how tight a lot of dresses that aren't forgiving are around my ribs (so I always have to buy a bigger size and get it hemmed). Can't make this work for me
I tried every possible way of tying this dress and I can't make it work. My chest is really just too big to work with a bra and doesn't look good with the thinner material. I bought it for a wedding, but can maybe make it work for a different occasion. - Product Rating: 1 of 5 stars
Very soft but no tops look good
First off, for my height this dress is perfect in maybe 1" heels, otherwise it'll show lots of foot/shoe. Fabric is wicked soft but very heavy. This is for a bridesmaid dress and every top option I have googled and found on Pinterest sucked on me. None look good at all. The ties that you use for the top are about 4" long. ORDER A SIZE DOWN
I first ordered the medium in a different color, but it was way too much material so I switched to the small maroon and it worked perfectly. Still had tons of material but it was okay because you can style the fabric to how it looks best on you and you can switch it up if you want to wear it to another event. Love!
Bought to wear to a winter wedding and absolutely loved it. So versatile with tons of ways to wrap the straps and give the dress a different feel. Was a little long so had to wear taller heels, but a great dress that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
