Ruffles on dress are not stitched evenly

Lovely Flowy Dress!
Okay so... I've ordered a Large because, when I measured myself, I was in between an M and L (M for the bust and L for waist/hips). I could kind of imagine the top part would be too big, and yup, it definitely was. Fortunately, I have a very talented grandma who was able to tighten the top part so it would sit nicer, and she also adjusted the waist as it was a little bit loose. Zipper Broke on first wear
This dress was beautiful in person, and I wore it as a wedding guest. Unfortunately, the zipper came unzipped from the bottom (like the teeth of the zipper just... stopped staying together) and now the dress is completely unwearable because the zipper can't be fixed. The dress was so pretty and fit me great, so I guess it is just bad quality.
