Event was Homecoming Dance.
The dress was beautiful. Fit perfectly. The only minor issue was the dress was a bit short for my height.

50th Birthday Bash

Nice dress, but a sensory nightmare
Cute dress. The color was very complimenting to an olive skin tone! However, the sequins are a nightmare - I simply returned it because I could not imagine walking around with those brushing on my inner arms.Response from Lulus.com: Hi, Victoria! Not for women with long legs/athletic build
I could not believe how short this dress was. I have long legs with an athletic build (wider hips/thighs), and I ordered my usual size; Medium. I thought I had accidentally ordered a small or even XS when this arrived; it looked like a child's dress! Not only that, the lacing is nearly impossible to configure, and not worth the time or money. It is so beautiful and very nice quality. The fit is adjustable with the straps. I received a ton of compliments on it! I ordered a medium to have it a little longer in length.

This dress is really cute, but a little to snug for me. I am in my late 30's and just dont like things so close to my body anymore. There is no room for forgiveness.
