Pretty Color but...
It's a really elegant dress and I liked how it laid waist up. But the stitching at the front slit - it balls up when you walk and just looks too strange. Love it!!

Perfection
I wore this for an old Hollywood themed gala. The dress is thick, drapes beautifully, and is very comfortable. The dress runs true to size but because I have a smaller bust the straps felt a little loose. I ended up pining it for more modest coverage as fabric tape didn't hold well on the velvet fabric. Gorgeous color and materials, the fit needed some tinkering
I initially ordered a size L (following the size calculator), but the dress ended up being too tight around the waist - impractical for a night of sitting, eating, and dancing. I knew I would have to tailor it anyway, so I exchanged the dress for an XL and had it tailored to fit my height, including taking in the shoulders a bit. Beautiful, Great Fit, Color is Different in Person
This dress fit like a glove, except in the chest. I am small chested: 32B, and I needed a safety pin and dress tape to make sure this stayed in place on my chest. I am 13 months postpartum, 5'4 and 139 lb. I haven't lost all my baby weight yet, and I hold some of my extra weight in my midsection.
