I wish I had bought the medium.
This skirt is beautifully fun and I was very pleased with the quality of the construction. I am just shy of being 5'6" with a 29" natural waistline. Based of the measurements given in the description I went ahead and ordered the large knowing I'd have to shorten the skirt. When I came, however, I had a full inch to spare in the waist. I bought this skirt for my engagement photo shoot. It moves beautifully and fits true to size. Love love love this item. I am 5'6" and 125 pounds with an athletic build. The small fit the narrow part of my waist perfectly. Highly suggest this item for a fun dreamy look. So FUN!!! This skirt is so whimsical and fun!!! There are a lot of layers to it, so if you are trying to hide your shape, this garment will not help you do that. For me, I love my curves and love how this fits snug on my waist and excentuates my hips. It's super cute with a crop top or a body suit. Too much material!
This skirt had potential, if there weren't so many layers of material! It makes my hips look huge! I'm slender, wear a small, but my hips are somewhat wide. This accentuates that in such a terrible way. I've tried to pair it with every shirt in my closet, but no matter what I have on I look like I am a fairy in the nutcracker.
