The material is soft and silk-like. A little bit see-through, but not terrible. My top had multiple strings attached, like the sewing wasn't properly finished. The elastic in the waistband is not sewn to a long edge, so it twists around and doesn't lay properly. I would have expected higher quality for the price I paid.
