Summer day dress

Fit is weird
I bought this in light green and red. From chest down, it fit well, but the straps and neckline fit differently on both dresses - red was too loose up on the neckline, The light green was fine, but the zipper on the back would not sit well. I think, if I were to size down, it would be too tight on my hips/waist. Was thinking I could shorten the straps a little but ultimately, I am going to return, thinking it is a little too much trouble to do...
