Cute dress, just didn't work for what I needed

Little Black Dress
The material of the dress is very thick and beautiful. The fit ran a little small in the waist/bust area. Because of this, it caused the sides to bunch up in the bust area. If it weren't for that, I would've kept the dress but I returned it instead. - Product Rating: 3 of 5 stars
Too short Runs small
Well made, lined, it looked really cute on, shows figure, but it is too short & I ordered a medium that fit me very snug... sent back main reason length. It needs a few more inches on hemline, even for a teen. If not, you bend over & it's going to show undergarments. Sad to return since it is so cute on. - Product Rating: 3 of 5 stars

Unfortunately, this dress was way too long and felt a little bulky on me. I suppose a hem would have helped a lot, but I ended up returning it. Quality of the material was good, though. - Product Rating: 3 of 5 stars

Thicker/ warm material
This is no medium/lightweight material, this is fairly heavy. If you plan on dancing in this, you will overheat. I don't know why I expected this to be of a lighter material, but I did. Also, I ended up ordering a large since size since medium was sold out, thinking it may work anyway since I have a larger chest, and I wished that I didn't...still too big. So close but not for a petite girl's chest
I am so incredibly disappointed that this dress didn't fit me right!!! I have a very short torso with average length legs. The waist, length, and material of this dress are absolutely perfect. The alterations that would have to be made to make this dress work for me are as follows: the sleeves would have to be shortened by at least an inch and a half, the waistline would need to be raised about 2 inches up onto the top piece to be proportional... Cute, but a little to long.
Wore this to a Christmas party. It was simple and warm, but I would have preferred it a little tighter and shorter.
