    Super soft, well made, classic style

    I assumed the fabric of this dress would be thin, and since it's not lined, I bought two and had a tailor tack them together to give it more substance. The price was so reasonable, I didn't mind ordering two, and I definitely think it's worth it to give the dress a little more weight. The price was so reasonable, I didn't mind ordering two, and I definitely think it's worth it to give the dress a little more weight. The low back is super sexy, but not to the point where I wouldn't wear it to work from time to time. It's definitely a classic style that every woman should have in her closet - it's totally timeless. I'm usually between an XS and a S, so I ordered the small and I'm glad I did - this dress looks better with a slight drape to make it more forgiving. - Jes Z.

    Perfect little black dress

    Reading reviews I've originally ordered size small, but in the end exchanged it to XS. Dress fits perfectly and it's made of soft, good quality fabric. I love simplicity of little black dress. So many options. At the pictures I worn it to work, with black tights and ankle boots.

    Perfect fit

    I LOVE this dress! I was a little nervous about it being too clingy, but it fit perfectly. I was a little bit big in the shoulders, but nothing too crazy. I was able to wear a strapless bra, no problem. I was at an event at the statehouse and this dress was perfect, not too dressy but not casual at all. I got so many compliments throughout the day! It was a little long but the length was perfect for the occasion. I can't wait to wear it again.

    Obsessed

    I am just obsessed with this dress and the fitting it so perfect for my size and the material is very light, very stretchy,and very comfortable and the price too. It's a win win!!!

    Perfect dress!

    This dress is incredibly comfortable and slimming. Its perfect for work with a blazer or longer sweater/coat to cover the fitted bum but then you can take off the blazer in the evening and have this amazing dropped back for going out! I received so many compliments for "just a plain black dress." I thought the knee length was going to be too long when I looked at the picture, but it makes it look classy and so incredibly versatile

    First purchase was a success

    I decided to write a review because I hesitated for weeks on ordering offline. I did not see any reviews that matched my body type. Curvy. I have a relatively smaller waist for my weight but large breast and behind. I was afraid this dress would be too thin from previous comments but I actually wore it with a regular black bra and no show underwear and you could not see through it. I was afraid this dress would be too thin from previous comments but I actually wore it with a regular black bra and no show underwear and you could not see through it. It was just the right amount of stretch and able to move effortlessly as the bottom was not too tight on your calves. The scoop in the back was also not as low as I read it would be and able to wear a regular bra. The only comment I would say is although meant to be long I wish it was maybe an inch shorter but I am also not the tallest. Overall it was a hit at my office Christmas party and I felt confident wearing my first LuLus purchase. I will be a returning customer for sure and I hope someone else can relate and use my review as a reassurance... you'll look great! - Kayla A.

    Love the dress!

    Went with the medium since the small was a bit too tight for me but another person may like it that way. Very versatile dress depending on what kind of event or gathering you are going to. I wore sparkly jewelry and shoes to make it more formal to the wedding I attended wearing it.
