Runs Big
I have consistently purchased larges from Lulus for everything and this was the first thing that was HUGE. The length was definitely not doable unless you wore heels and I even had some gaping in the back. I wanted to return it and order a size down because I did love the style of the dress so much.... beautiful dress, won't disappoint
I am very pleased with this purchase. I live in Canada and my order came within two weeks! The dress fits perfectly (really helps that there are adjustable straps) and for all those worried moms out there, no it does not show any side boob. Although I would recommend to buy nipple covers since you can't really wear a bra with this dress and your nipples will show. The colour was also true to the picture. Sizing is inaccurate
While the dress is adorable, the size chart doesn't accurately reflect dress size. The waist in the back is ELASTIC, so there is much more give than other reviews suggest. I ordered a M because the size chart said my waist was a L, but I didn't believe that as I'm pretty petite. Had to return the M for a S. Also, Lulu's doesn't include a return shipping label in the bag, which is a huge inconvenience for customers.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Chloe! Even better than I hoped!
I was nervous to order this dress, because a backless, bra-less dress usually doesn't work for someone with a larger chest like mine. But this dress somehow magically worked! The sides don't gap, and there's even some rubberized seam work to keep it clinging to you in the right way. The high neck does make my boobs look even bigger, but I don't mind it. Probably better for thinner, smaller-chested ladies
I have a very athletic build and there was something about this dress that made me look wider when you look straight-on. It was also slightly large - no matter how I adjusted the straps, the sides of the chest area were slightly baggy. It just didn't look flattering on me at all! So pretty and fits well!
I ordered this dress for all of my bridesmaids and they all look amazing in it! The material is light but holds a good form - would recommend sticky boobs as the top doesn't have much to it and there's no back so there's not much form and potential to see things if it's cold ;) Some of the girls will have to hem theirs - but for the tall girls it's great that the dresses were long enough!
