Ordered for NYE
Hi all, I ordered this dress with the intention of wearing it for NYE but it was slightly larger than I expected and also a bit cumbersome due to the weight with the sequins. I ordered a size small and I am 5'6, 115, 32-26-36. The dress was long when I tried it on, even with 4 inch heels, and the waist was a bit looser than I would like. I am 5'8 and 135lbs. Usually I'm a medium in any short dress on Lulu's, but as a rule of thumb when ordering a long dress I order small. This dress fit perfectly as a small and sat incredibly on my body. Im a B cup and thankfully the straps on the dress are adjustable, however I would definitely recommend sticky boobs if any smaller than a C because without a bra the dress looked incredibly awkward. Great buy!
After searching many sites and stores for my daughter's formal dress I was very excited to return to Lulu's. Every year as formal/prom rolls around I get a little panicky. Of course they can't wear the same dress twice! So I try to avoid paying full price for dresses. Especially with 3 daughters! The one I bought this dress for is slender but super muscular. Gorgeous dress but fits weird
This dress is beautiful, in color and in style but it fits rather large. The waist fit just right however the top was long and the skirt of the dress was huge! I am 5'2" and would need to take in a lot and shorten. Not worth the amount of money I paid for the dress to make all of those alterations.
