Great dress, very appropriate
I wore this dress as a bridesmaid and got loads of compliments on it. I will say I felt that it wanted to drop on my chest quite a bit and felt myself pulling it up. I didn't feel confident enough in the straps to make them tighter and do the leg work in keeping it up. However, that's my own chest shape coming into play. Not for a special occasion
I bought this dress in white for elopement pictures, and the quality was not up to par for a $70 dress. The material was very similar to that of a Halloween costume. I will say that the stitching of the garment and its actual construction was well made. Runs so small
I always have to order a size up from my usual at Lulus, but in general Lulus sizing is pretty consistent in that size XL from this site has always fit me. Not so with this dress - I couldn't even zip it up all the way because the chest was so tight! I don't even have big boobs but they were super smushed just with the zipper halfway up. Party Dress!
I am almost 5'9 and weigh 140 lbs. so I ordered a size medium. It fits great! I love the color and can't wait to wear it on my cruise!
