Dress runs too big!!!!
I purchase this dress to go to a family reunion. When I tried it on it was huge! I ordered a medium and it was just too big. I'm 5'4 125 lbs. hope this review helps out. I just reordered this exact dress in small. I'm going to give LULUS dresses one more try. Hopefully the third time is a charm. - Product Rating: 2 of 5 stars
Beloved bloom ivory lace midi dress
The dress itself was very beautiful, however, it appeared way too big for the size I had ordered. I followed the sizing chart and that still didn't seem to help. Perhaps if I had gone down a size it would have fit properly. I will add the dress/material also felt heavy. I ended up having to return because of this. I do love the style of the dress and perhaps if I reorder will just make sure to adjust the size. - Product Rating: 2 of 5 stars
Meh...
This dress does fit true to size and the dress itself felt of good quality. The issues I had were with the straps and how it was cut. The straps are super cheaply made and feel like there were going to break or rip. There is a seam under the bust and then one at the natural waist. On me, this created the illusion that I had a "gut" in that area. I am 5'7 and weigh 140 lbs. I am toned, so I know it wasn't my body. I really wanted to love... Disappointed
I'm 5'9, wear a 28 in jeans, and a 34/36B. I originally bought this in a large but it was way too big in the top and waist. I really wanted the dress to work, so I exchanged it for a medium, which fit much better, but it just looked terrible. The top/straps part is extremely thick, which helps if you don't want to wear a bra but other than that it just looks and feels really bulky.
