Unfortunately, I'm just too short
This dress is gorgeous. The weight of the fabric is fantastic. I'm usually a size 2, and the waist of the small was just a bit tight on me (nothing losing 2 lbs. wouldn't fix) Unfortunately, though, the main reason I fell in love was the high-low hem...and my 5'3" height leaves little of that to be seen. the front of the dress falls well below my knee and the back is dragging on the floor even in 4.5" heels. Runs Small, Heavy but High Quality
I am a size 2/4 and ordered a M. The dress was extremely tight in the waist (could barely fully zip) which was unflattering due to the open back. The dress looks/feels high quality and is very heavy. I returned due to the sizing issue but may have loved it otherwise. - Product Rating: 5 of 5 stars
So classy
I ordered this dress to wear to a winter gala with my spouse. It's so classy! I'm 5'8" 130lbs, and totally lacking curves. I thought the dress would give me some good shape. It DOES add some nice shape, however, I found that the small fit my top, but I couldn't zip the zipper (yikes). So I exchanged for a medium, and now I can zip it with ease, but I have to have the top tailored in significantly. I still think it fits true to size. I just have a... Meh
This dress is super heavy and thick. The bottom puffs out quite a bit, like a princess dress. It was not at all what i expected.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Rachel! Maid of honor
Absolutely loved this dress! I bought it for my sisters wedding in the midnight blue color-looks just like the image posted on the site. The dress itself is made extremely well. The material is heavy and thick- perfect for a formal event but not exactly a 'light and flowy' look. I'm not exactly a huge fan of the 'high-low' style in most dresses but this dress still manages to look extremely elegant and have lots of movement. I am 5'9 and a 32DD.... Awesome dress
This dress is great! I am so happy with this purchase. I am 5'3 and 145 pounds so I got the medium, and it fits perfectly. I did try it on with heels since it's a tad bit long, but other than that it's gorgeous. I got in the blue (best color in my opinion).
