Disappointed
I was really excited about these shoes, however when they arrived I was quite disappointed as the strings appear way longer in the picture than they actually are. The strings would not even wrap up twice around my ankles and I consider myself to have normal legs (I am 5'6 and 140 pounds for reference). I believe that the only way these shoes would tie up properly is if you have abnormally skinny ankles. Will be returning.
