Gorgeous color, weird fit
First of all, the color is fabulous. It looks just like the photo! The length was perfect, and it was the perfect amount of flowy throughout the body. However, the top of the dress was extremely small. I am not large chested and tried the dress on without under garments, and my chest was uncomfortably flattened. Effortless and Glamorous!
I bought two dresses knowing I would return one and unfortunately I had to return this one - I loved it so much, but the color really is more beige with gold flecks. I'm going to a Mardi Gras party and I know they're strict about that, otherwise I would have kept it - it was SO comfortable and chic. Even prettier in real life!
This picture honestly doesn't do the gorgeousness of the dress justice. The golden color is so vibrant and the fabric has a very expensive feel to it. My only complaint is that the bust-part of the dress is quite small, so if you have a similar body type to me beware! The chest is tight!
I bought this dress for an awards ceremony I have in California. The material is great and I was so excited to try it on. However the bust was way too tight. I tried it on with a strapless bra then again with no bra. All it did was flatten my chest. I recommend going up a size. - Product Rating: 2 of 5 stars
Not the right fit
I really wanted to like this dress. :( I planned to wear this for a wedding. I read the reviews and decided to go up a size due to the chest. I read a few taller reviewers say that this worked for them... but it was way too short for me. I am about 5'10.5" and this hit well above my ankle. I sent it back to get a refund. The chest was also very tight, as other reviews have said. It is a very strange design... not sure what to suggest to others.Response from Lulus.com: Hey Tina! Not exactly right...
I really wanted to love this dress but it wasn't quite right on me. I do have a long torso but even when I let out the adjustable straps all the way, the top still hit me very high making it look like an empire-waist dress rather than how it shows on the model. This dress is very poorly made, very cheap. The straps are paper thin, was not pleased with material of this dress at all.
