Strange proportions...
I packed this dress back up as soon as I tried it on. It was too long for my 5'3" frame and the longest part (in the back) hit at a really strange place on my calves - unflattering. I purchased a small (my usual size is M, but I am a S sometimes) and the top half was weirdly baggy, though the sleeves were fitted just right. Flimsy material
It looked like I was wearing a bathrobe. Had no structure, material was flimsy. The length hit at the worst part of the leg at my mid shin. Pretty color though.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Tracey! Cute, but ended up returning
I was really excited to receive this dress, and was planning to use it for New Years' Eve. I want to stress that there was nothing wrong with the dress, regarding sizing, color, etc., but I returned because of the comfort. While the material was nice and rich, the way that it wraps made me feel like I was going to expose myself just by walking. It didn't stay closed very well, and I did not want to risk a fashion disaster while out in public. - Product Rating: 3 of 5 stars
I liked it, but.....
I'm on the fence about this dress. The color is absolutely beautiful. The fabric is soft and feels luxurious, but it is a little thin. Based upon some of the reviews, I ordered a medium when I should have ordered a large. The reason is it is a little low cut. And with my cup size, It was really hard to pull it together. .
