Great dress for a formal event
I wore this dress to a friend's October wedding and I got a ton of compliments. This would be best for a formal event for the fall and winter because of the long sleeves and the weight of the dress. It was a little loose in the hip area and a little long at the bottom. Nothing too extreme to make it unwearable and if I had more time before the wedding I would have gotten it altered. True to the Picture! Fits Great!
Fits great all over...except the bust area. But I have an unusually small bust and will fill with padded cups. Height was great and I am tall. So thankful this website lists the length of the dress so you can read if it will be long enough before you buy. Good quality fabric, color is true to picture. Another satisfied purchase for Lulus! Do not order up a size. Tighter would be better for the dress.
I am generally a 6-8 pants size, and a S-M top. I got the large to accommodate my booty and regretted it. The top part of the dress, because it is backless, was a little large and loose fitting with no support. I should have chosen my regular/smaller size (medium) to be tighter and keep the girls in place. Not as advertised
Per the size chart I ordered an XS which turns out to not be accurate. The dress is cheap looking especially the lace which fits very loose on the arms and the sleeves are too long. I returned the dress today - Product Rating: 3 of 5 stars
not that flattering
The fit measurements are accurate but the dress was definitely tight around the arms like I could barely lift my arms up. It's pretty form fitting and not forgiving at all. If you don't have an hourglass figure I don't think the dress will be flattering. And if you have a bigger chest it will definitely not be flattering. Unfortunately returning.
