Elegant black dress

Love it!

Feel like a 1930s film star wearing this
This dress is a knock-out. And empowering. The velvet is a nice deep black color and the cut and style, with a hint of stretch, make it incredibly wearable. At the advice of other reviewers and the sizing chart, I opted for the L and it fits perfectly (though I do wear a a slightly padded bra with it because it is a bit too loose on top with a regular bra). Gorgeous and classic
A beautiful and classy dress. I wore it to formals and got compliments all night. The velvet was a nice, heavy, and stretchy. There was room at the waist, but the fit still flattered my silhouette. Since I'm on the shorter side, I had to get the length altered, even while wearing 4 inch heels. Perfection!
I wanted a dress that was comfortable yet flattering for a NYE black-tie wedding, and this dress was absolutely perfect. While I usually wear a M, I went with the advice and ordered a L and an XL, and the L fit like a glove (I have a large bust, small waist, and average hips).
