Just too much dress, but beautiful
I bought this dress believing it was a maxi dress, but its really a full-on gown. Its just too much dress! I'm 5'6 and would need to take off at least 6" at the bottom. In addition, the top droops just a smidge enough that the band fell a little below where it should, & at first I thought it was weirdly tight at the bottom of the band (which should be at the narrowest part of your torso). Sizing can be tricky.
I originally ordered the large at the suggestion of the size calculating tool and found the top to be rather loose and unflattering. The medium fit just right. I would suggest ordering this dress based on your waist measurement as opposed to your bust or hips.
