Love but fits loose in upper half
I originally bought this dress in a rush for my birthday brunch, but never got around to wearing it. So when I got a last minute invite to a NYFW event, I pulled this out of the bag. I got a lot of compliments on this dress, at least 4 or 5. However, the fit is bit off. Usually, I find a challenge with dresses fitting on the bottom and too small up top. Bulky top

Wish I could have kept this

Cute dress, BUT BE WARNED
I was a little nervous about how this would fit, being a bodycon dress. I have had two kids, and I do not have the body of a fitness model. When I got it, it seemed of very good quality, the material is thicker, so it sort of holds you in. I think it looked very good on, the color was very vibrant, and I did feel sexy in it. Wanted to love it more
A definite beautiful dress (absolutely love the button-up back), but am not as much in love with it as I wanted (or expected) to be. I foresee the 'bra situation' being a definite issue as the material isn't thick enough to go bra-less (if you're over a B cup size) and, due to the open-back, it will be impossible to wear a bra without the back strap showing (I haven't tried a stick-on bra with it yet, but believe it would show through the... I wanted to love it...
I wanted to love this dress so badly! I ordered both a Small and XS. I found the bottom half fit exactly the same on both (no complaints there) but the top on the Small was too big and the XS top portion was too tight- I was able to fit into both but the XS didn't fall properly on the chest/neckline. Doesn't work for petites
The skirt part of the dress has a wavy zipper (factory defect?). The upper side of the dress on the sleeves it starts too large and then to tight on the ends. Also as I'm too short the two parts of this dress look like one when looking in the front. ;( I usually love everything I buy on Lulus but if you are a petite like me it probably won't be a good fit.Response from Lulus.com: Hey Marielle! Love it!
The material is thicker and stretchy. Not see through. Love the button up back. It's a keeper for sure!
