Just didn't work
Shift dresses are notoriously tricky on short girls, but it was just too hard to make this one work. I will say that it's well made: the material is high quality and the lining is a great bonus. I loved the mesh accent and the fringe sleeves, but it was just too long for my body (I'm 5'1", and it hit right above my knees), and hemming it would've made the shape too boxy for my liking. Cute dress but none of the sizes I tried fit ....I first ordered the small based on reviews and it wasn't huge but def too big and not very flattering. I exchanged it for the xs and it fit terribly-nothing like the small?! It was tight in one spot lose in another it was no good. Great fit until the hips :(
The dress is SUPER cute and lightweight, however, due to its boxy shape and my curves, it was loose from below bust to the top of my hips. It runs the same size all the way down from bust to bottom. Tight on the sleeves
The dress fits very well, but the reason for returning is because the sleeves are really tight on my arms. My arms are fairly muscular, but not to the point that clothing doesn't fit well, which is why this dress was a surprising fit. - Product Rating: 5 of 5 stars
First Lulu dress ever!
This is the first dress I've ordered from Lulus. I was worried about the quality of on-line clothing based on previous experiences. But Lulus did not disappoint. The material is nice and the tassels are well-made. I was also worried about the fit because a shift could be baggy but the fit was perfect. The darting keeps it from looking baggy. Super Cute
Love everything about this dress. It's great material and so different and cute! It is kind of big and roomy. I'm going to have it hemed and possibley taken in on the sides if I can. I have no curves so this isn't the most flattering on me, but will be perfect for my bridal shower either way!
