Very cute but awkward fit

Cute but Not for Me
My family and I are going on a cruise this summer and I thought that this would be the perfect dress. It could certainly double as a formal (cruise) dress, or something that you could wear on the beach. Its material is flowing and light, but the style of this dress is not at all appealing on my figure. I am normally a size large and don't know that ordering a larger size would have helped. Dress comfortable and cute, but definitely purple
This dress is very comfortable and flattering, however it is much more purple than depicted. The description reads lavender but you can't tell from the picture how lavender it is - it looks closer to white in the picture.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Megan! The color is completely different
The photo shows a light colored dress with a few hints of dark blue. The dress I received is almost all dark blue with hints of light purple. The colors are basically inverted compared to what I expected. I like the fit, and if it had been the same color scheme as in the photo, I think I would really like it.

Not as it seemed
This is such a beautiful dress, online. When I received mine it was not blue and white, it was blue and a light pink (which was actually fine). The dress arrived very wrinkled. The slit was more centered than to the side and I didn't think that looked cute. The neckline was lower than I would like and I wasn't comfortable.
