Bought it for prom!!
I bought this dress for prom and it fits perfectly. It doesn't need any alterations, hugs yours curves in a very flattering way, and it is made of really sturdy material. The crushed velvet is really beautiful and I can't wait to wear it! Also a great piece because I'll be able to wear it again. So soft!

Better for someone taller
I wanted to love this dress, but it was just okay on me. The slit is in a good location on the leg, not too high. I think this would look better on someone with a longer torso. I tried on a small and a medium (normally I wear a small). I thought the medium fit me a little nicer since it had some give. - Product Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Been wanting a black velvet dress and Lulus has provided a perfect dress yet again! It's beautiful on! I was hesitant on ordering L vs M and honestly I feel like the M would have also fit me as well. Very cute
Love the fit and the feel of the dress. Was a little tight but I wouldn't change the size. It is long and I need to get it hemmed but besides that I'm very excited to wear it.
