The material is very stretchy but thick so it's almost like it holds you in all the right places, almost like spanx without having to wear spanx. I received a ton of compliments. Wore it with wedge heel Chuck T's for a different look. You couldn't see the Chuck T's unless I was walking and then they peeked out cute. I cannot say enough about this dress. cute but had to return
i carry my weight in the middle, so it was a little snug in the tummy... however a bit baggy in the chest. I bought an XS. I may consider getting a small and having it taken in where needed
