Runs large
I ordered a large, which is my normal size with Lulu's. I wanted to like this, but it was too big. Also, the material is pretty thin, so it is not going to be forgiving. I had to send it back. LOVE IT!
I have curves so I was a little worried that this dress wouldn't fit well because it's so straight and didn't seem like it had much give in the hip/butt area. I reached out to customer service and they recommended, based on other reviews, sizing up from the medium to a large and I am glad I did. The large fits perfectly. It was not too tight or too loose. Ill fitting
I was really excited for this dress for wedding season but upon arrive it was way too loose. Even if I sized down, I think the material just isn't form fitting and hug the curves around your waist, therefore making you appear very straight up and down. Really flattering
Normally tea length dresses doesn't look right on me because I'm short. This actually made me look taller. The lace is stunning and very soft. I was worried about the bust part not being enough coverage since I'm busty but it is perfect. I can still wear a black bra underneath ear because it looks like part of the dress. So loose!
I have not yet determined the correct balance of hip/bust-size favoring when ordering bodycon dresses from Lulus, but boy I missed the mark on this one. It was so loose! Could have hidden at least two small kittens in the top portion and my hips, which are normally how I size for tighter dresses, had ample room.
