Not for an hourglass shape..
The dress was pretty - it seems to be a best fit for someone without too many curves as is is straight fitted throughout the waist. Also, the bottom would have cost a fortune to hem due to all the layers - I'm 5'4 and the front slit hit at an awkward place mid-shin...
