I'm usually a 9/9.5 but I went down to a 8.5 in these shoes and I'm glad I did! To be honest I could not find a comfy pair of black flats for an upcoming holiday party so I went with these instead. The heel is perfect height and very comfortable. My toes don't look bunched up or squished in. These shoes run very small. I think if I were to order again I'd have to go up at least a size and a half.
