Runs extremely large on the sides! Very awkward fit!
Did not like this sweater AT ALL. It is HUGE! I am normally a L in Lulus clothing, and I sized down to a Small with this sweater, and it was HUGE. The sweater is extremely WIDE on the sides and unflattering. The proportionals are all off and the fit is extremely awkward.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Samantha! CASHMERE?? IS THAT YOU?!
LOVVVVEEEE this sweater! It is so soft and feels so luxurious against my skin, I swear it feels like cashmere. It is nice and thick and is a perfect staple for a fall wardrobe. Perfectly paired with high-waist jeans and bootie heels. Tuck it in at the front middle just above the belt buckle and the middle small of your back to give you that "chunky sweater" look an further accentuate your curves. The sleeves were extremely short...
I'm not sure what's going on with Lulus lately but I'm not happy. I ordered two sweaters and neither one was anything remotely close to what's listed above. The sleeves were extremely short and the waist was oddly attached to the armpit of the sweater.. At first I felt an exchange would resolve the issue, but only confirmed it's poorly crafted. Cute sweater
Sized down to a medium, which fit well. The cut is oversized but short, resulting in a boxy fit. The v-neck is quite small/high and can look awkward when the sweater pulls up. Overall, a good sweater for the price, though I do find the material is quite static-y - Product Rating: 4 of 5 stars
Great Sweater, Odd Smell
I really like the style of this sweater. I already owned it in the blue color, and wear it all the time. I bought the cream and the mauve to decide between the two. I chose the cream, except it had a really awful smell to it, that the mauve sweater didn't have. It was really off-putting and made me think it may have been worn and returned.
