Maybe not for athletic calves
These pants are great standing up, but when I sit down they are quite snug on my calves. I run and weight train so maybe my calves are just a little too bulky. I wouldn't return them for a bigger size as they are a little big in the waist area, just tight in the calf region - Product Rating: 3 of 5 stars
Fairy Waistline
These are SO tight in the waistline. The rest of the pant fits perfectly, even if it is a tad long for my height. But I could barely button and zip the pants and when I did I felt like my organs were all displaced. For All Occasion Pants
This pair of trousers are made for me. At least that's how it fits. Fits like high-waisted pants, curves the butt, and enough stretch for the hips and thighs. I'm more of a pear shape gal and this one fits great on me. The length is just right. - Product Rating: 4 of 5 stars

comfortable with a very high waist (not for a short-torso)

Runs extremely small!
