Beautiful fit on top
Beautiful fit on top with the full coverage back and some fabric stretch yet supportive. Heavy fabric would be great for late Fall to early Spring. Ordered Medium due to other reviews and this was correct for me. Downsides: extremely long and the pale color was more silver/grey with a purple-ish tint was not good with my fair skin tone. Absolutely Gorgeous
This dress is just gorgeous, albeit long. In this photo I'm wearing 3' heels and I'm 5'6'. It's just beautiful though and I got many compliments on it. It does have an under layer, so if you'll be getting it altered, keep in mind youll have to pay for both layers.

Heavy material
This dress is super heavy material!! It's good and classy for a sophisticated winter formal look - and i'm sure the heavy material will keep you warm. Dress was lovely!
The weight and drape of the dress was very nice. The only thing about it was the color. It was absolutely gorgeous but was too close to the bridal party wear. I was hoping for a dark lilac but it was more of a purple. Loved it and am ordering another velvet dress in another color. - Product Rating: 5 of 5 stars
Great Dress
This pretty and super comfortable dress has a thick material which is more appropriate to wear in cooler weather. I originally bought a size Small (my typical size) but the bust area was too loose so I returned it and bought an X-small which was tight but since it has a lot of stretch I decided to keep it. Also, I got the dress hemmed about 2 inches because even though I wore 3.5"' heels it was still too long.
