    Winter wedding

    I purchased three dresses from Lulu's anticipating having to return 1 or 2 of them bc of size, comfort or something, but ALL THREE turned out to be fabulous. (I'm keeping them all!) This dress is made out of thick, heavy, velvet fabric with a soft, stretchy liner. It was extremely long and I had to hem it (took off about 5 inches). But that is a small price to pay for how fabulous this dress is. I'm wearing it to a winter wedding in a barn, with cowboy boots and a Jean jacket.     Sizing problems

    This dress is great, if you do not have curves. I had to get this tailored in the length as well as the back (seam at the waist) as the zipper bunched / protruded out almost 3 inches (like a little hump). Everywhere else it fit perfectly - one could wear without a bra or with undergarments. Though the tailoring was expensive, it is a classic dress and now it is basically custom.

    Elegant Comfortable Dress

    This dress is so flattering! Bonus that it's the most comfortable dress I tried as well! The velvet is luxurious, not thin or too heavy. Purchased this for an early spring wedding in March. It's floor length in 3 inch heels.

    Pros and cons

    Pros: Runs a little large, (debated between small and medium for a long time before ordering), flattering, comfortable (don't need a bra!) Cons: Extremely long, fabric is a little heavy, a little tight under arm pit area (not too bad).

    Beautiful

    I wore this dress to a masquerade event. It is VERY LONG. I'm 5'9" and with 3" heels, it still dragged a bit. Beautiful color and great fit, not tight anywhere. I'm actually a 38I. I didn’t wear a bra, and things stayed pretty well put. I’m typically a size L or XL in tops and size 14/16 in jeans and dresses.
