    Dark color and heavy

    The dress is beautiful but IRL the color is darker than in the pictures (more purpleish than pink). The fabric was also pretty heavy and cumbersome. Decided to switch to another option.

    Beautiful color and perfect fit

    The color is as the photos show but maybe a little more lavender? The fit is consistent with other dresses. I'm a true Lulus XS. I was wearing heels and the length was about a half inch too long but that's not a major con. Wearing this as a bridesmaid's dress where the bride chose velvet as the unifier and it's bride approved!

    Beautiful dress!

    Ordered this dress to wear to an evening formal wedding. It fit well, and I was very comfortable in it all night. Fortunately, the length was fine for me with a low heel shoe.

    runs long, order with time to hem!

    gorgeous fabric, but heavy. definitely a winter dress. comes a little wrinkly, so order it with time to steam/iron or hang. also runs longer than all my other lulus dresses, so order with time to hem/get it hemmed. made my butt and bust look awesome. i wish the back had a bit more going on though, the zipper straight up to my neck bubbles a bit and ages the dress.

    Not well made

    There's a lot to like about this dress but unfortunately, it is not well-made. It felt good on after alterations but still did not sit quite right at the bust. Whoever made it had a struggle with sewing the velvet and the lining. The left front panel was so much better than the right, and no amount of alterations could get the puckering out. The zipper at the back had to be taken in because it stuck out at the neckline. Alterations cost me more... Read More
