Cute but not a knock out
First of all it's navy, and for some reason I thought it was black. It's cute, very form fitting. I'm a solid 8 in most everything, but on this I wish I'd sized up, just to be able to breath. Beautiful formal dress!
Beautiful dress, but I did need to get it tailored as it was way too long. However throughout the night of my formal event, the dress seemed to have stretched. I had to hold the bottom of the dress to my side so I wouldn't trip. I will need to get it shortened again if I want to wear this dress a second time.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Elle! Wow... just wow.
I got this dress for prom, and I was over the moon with how nice it turned out. I got so many compliments on how nice it looked. The color was absolutely stunning, and the material was thick so it didn't feel cheap. It's a little bit short, in my opinion, because I didn't really want my feet to show, but you really couldn't tell unless I was walking. Go up a size
The dress itself is really high quality complete with thick fabric and cute buttons on the back. However, the color, in combination with a high neckline and 3/4 sleeves, makes the dress look like a costume from The Handmaid's Tale. It was too similar for me to keep, so I returned it. Love this dress
