Runs small and looks cheap

I already own a burgundy corduroy skirt I got from Target. I really wanted another but I wasn't sure what color. I saw the outfit of the model and had to get it! Fit is odd if you're in between sizes
The XS was too small and short but when I ordered the small the fit felt a bit frumpy and loose in the waist. Had to return unfortunately.Response from Lulus.com: Hi Michelle! It just ok

Way too big
