Despite the height, they seem very comfortable. The ankle strap lends extra support.

These shoes are fab. Bought them to wear to a wedding I was in in late October and they were the perfect addition. Highly recommend, and comfortable too!

Size Down
I read the previous reviews that said to order a half-size down and took that advice. I am an 8.5 in pretty much all shoes but ordered an 8, and I am so glad I did, the 8 fit perfectly. I wore the shoes for about 10 hours straight and my feet did eventually start to hurt around hour 6, but compared to shoes I've worn in the past that is pretty good. I would definitely order these again in a different color.
