    Beautiful Dress; Very Long and Ripped on the Dance Floor

    Beautiful dress - the material is thick and heavy, and feels very high quality. It was a little loose in the bust area, but was able to use some tape to keep things in place. I did need to alter it in two areas: the hem (a few inches) and the slit. The slit in the dress goes all the way up to your belly button, so I had the tailor close slit so that it only revealed up to mid-thigh. Unfortunately, the strap ripped about 10 minutes into...     Beautiful dress - the material is thick and heavy, and feels very high quality. It was a little loose in the bust area, but was able to use some tape to keep things in place. I did need to alter it in two areas: the hem (a few inches) and the slit. The slit in the dress goes all the way up to your belly button, so I had the tailor close slit so that it only revealed up to mid-thigh. Unfortunately, the strap ripped about 10 minutes into the reception. Luckily I was able to find a safety pin to get it back into place for the night, but based on the way it ripped and frayed, I don't think it's worth paying to repair, and I worry it would happen to the other side anyway. - Sydney H.

    Quality

    Great material, beautiful dress. However, both dresses I received straps were messed up. These dresses are too expensive to have to get them fixed.

    Shoulder measurements needed

    After reading other reviews about this dress "being good for small chests" I decided to buy it for my engagement photos. I am a M size 6/8, 36B. This is a fitted dress, with zero stretch or give. The waist fit me like a glove and was a great length - I'm pretty short and it wasn't extremely long, however the straps and top of the dress didn't even cover half of me.     Darn!

    I really wanted to love this dress because I was obsessed with the color, unfortunately, it was just too big everywhere
