My new go to skirt!

I've been searching around for the perfect leather skirt. I was skeptical at first because I thought this looked pretty short, I purchased and figured I could wear it with tights. Runs small
This skirt wouldn't even fit over my butt. Had to return it which was so sad because I was really excited about it. Ordered pretty another vegan leather skirt from lulus that was free people that is perfect. Love the material, the zipper could be upgraded for a smoother feel, pockets are great, I had mine tailored by letting out the darts for fit and cutting the hem to 10 inches which leaves 3 inches below the zipper. Purchased 3 more for different tailoring, cut hem to 9 inches, 4-inch side slit, clear belt loops for high-end silver belt, 2-inch diamond cut at bottom of zipper. I purchased this skirt in a Large and a Medium
I am basically a Petite but with longer legs and a shorter body length, which I can't explain using the "Fit Details". The Large skirt fits lower on my body, basically the top of the waistband is at my waist. The Medium skirt fits higher, the waistband is about 1" to 1.5" higher than my waist.
