    Beautiful dress

    I wore this dress for a "coastal formal" wedding. It wasn't on the beach, but in a beach town in the south in August. It fit well, but a little tight in the ribs. Didn't need a bra with the constructed top and grippy seam at the bust. Perfect length with a pair of moderate heels... didn't need to hem it! The chest boning was a little strange and kept sliding around a little, but otherwise I was very happy and chose this dress out of many!

    Awkward bust

    The print on this dress is beautiful, but the colors weren't doing me any favors, which was the main reason I didn't keep it. The other reason is the bust. As others mentioned, it fit poorly, as if the boning was bent or warped. I thought this was the case for me too, until I figured out there is a free-floating, curvy V-shaped piece of plastic boning that is supposed to define the whole neckline. As others mentioned, it fit poorly, as if the boning was bent or warped. I thought this was the case for me too, until I figured out there is a free-floating, curvy V-shaped piece of plastic boning that is supposed to define the whole neckline. It had sunken down while shipping and trying it on, but once I shimmied it back up into place, the bodice vastly improved. Still, the contrast between the rigid boning at the top of the bust and the flimsy fabric below it made for an odd fit. I think it would look better on a smaller bust? I really don't know. (Plus, how long would the boning last before it fell back down again?) Other than that, the length was perfectly floor-length on me in 3" heels. So, works in a pinch for shorter girls, might be risky on taller girls with heels. - Rebecca C.

    Pretty but not the shape I was expecting

    I wanted to love this dress. The pattern is beautiful. But in the end, I returned it. The top was supposed to be structured, but it ended up looking awkward. I expected this to be a bit more a-line, but it's a straight cut. Would look great on a tall, thin woman, but not on this short pear shaped woman. It drew attention to the widest part of my body (saddle bag/hip area) and it wasn't flattering in my opinion.
