For Long Torso
I adored this dress for my Vegas elopement. However, when I took it to be altered, the seamstress couldn't take up at the shoulders due to the high back fabric. Poor construction on the slit
This fits nicely in the torso but the slit makes it unwearable. The lining fabric is only attached on the edges and it's loose which makes the lining stick out 2-3 inches beyond the edges of the slit. This was the dealbreaker. Personally, I found the slit to be quite high, it was in line with my crotch and I thought the top ruffles were heavy.Response from Lulus.com: Hello Michelle! Zipper issues
Ordered a size up based on previous reviews and what the website stated based on my measurements but it's still too small and there are no options to return for a larger size. Beautiful & Comfortable
Beautiful dress and very comfortable! I didn't make any professional alterations, but did tack the lining to the lace seam to help keep the slit more open (the lining would drape into the open slit area despite ironing it). Hem hit at my ankle. Size S was a little tight to zip with my ribs and athletic shoulders, but size M would have been too large. Very comfortable!
