This dress does not make sense

Wanted it to work
This dress is so pretty; however, the sizing just did not work. I initially ordered a small, and the top was gaping no matter how tight I tied the top. I exchanged for the XS, and it was unfortunately so tight throughout the midsection area and the top still had gaping. It was a final sale item so not much can be done but I really wanted it to work. Nice but not perfect
I really love the dress & style, color but fits a little tight across the chest waist area. Fabric has no give. A larger size would likely fit better but then would be too big everywhere else. I also need to take up the shoulders as the fit is not quite right on me. I guess I'm too short waisted. But love the dress and plan to get the few alterations.
