Waaaay too long to be a midi!
Really pretty and lovely, soft material. However, I am almost 5'3" and this touched the tops of my feet. Definitely a maxi and not a midi for anyone under 5'8", I'd say! (I have a standard sized - ie, not "petite" - midi dress in my closet from another source, and when I laid these one on top of that, this was 8 inches longer!) This dress is warm and cozy, form fitting. Great for girls' night out or date night. I sometimes have a hard time with sweater dresses b/c I have a smaller waist, but this dress hugged the right areas and formed perfect around my curves.
