    High Maintenance Gown

    I purchased this dress for a gala event. The color (plum) was beautiful and I think the shade would be flattering on most skin tones. The fabric looks expensive even though it's just polyester. However, it wrinkles unbelievably. It came super wrinkled and even the dry cleaner commented how tough it was to steam out the wrinkles. Getting the dress on is another issue I had. No way you can get dressed by yourself with an easy zip. My husband... Read More
    I purchased this dress for a gala event. The color (plum) was beautiful and I think the shade would be flattering on most skin tones. The fabric looks expensive even though it's just polyester. However, it wrinkles unbelievably. It came super wrinkled and even the dry cleaner commented how tough it was to steam out the wrinkles. Getting the dress on is another issue I had. No way you can get dressed by yourself with an easy zip. My husband struggled with the zipper both when I tried it on, then getting it off, and again the night of the event on and off. It's like the drapey fabric is too close to the zipper, so it's very tough to zip it up without it getting caught on the fabric. Once the dress is on, I did love it. It is very flowy and feels comfortable on. The cut out and the one shoulder is unique and flattering. However, one last issue I had with the dress is how easily it shows the slightest of water marks and stains. The fabric is not forgiving, and I doubt the other colors would be any better. - Erin W.

    See-through

    Unfortunately, the dress is pretty see-through, and I did not realize until after the return window.

    Beautiful dress, but high maintenance

    Loved this dress, but it is not an easy one to wear. When it arrived, it was very wrinkled, and while I understand some creases and wrinkles due to shipping are expected, just be forewarned that the fabric of the dress makes it even more of a wrinkle magnet. You absolutely need to have it professionally pressed/steamed before wearing. Second issue - the zipper is extremely hard to zip up; you cannot zip it on your own, and even my husband... Read More

You absolutely need to have it professionally pressed/steamed before wearing. Second issue - the zipper is extremely hard to zip up; you cannot zip it on your own, and even my husband struggled to get it zipped. The track comes way too close to the fabric, and you risk snagging the dress! Thirdly - this dress does NOT hide the slightest stain whatsoever. The moment anything with moisture touches the dress, you are done. The slightest spill, raindrop, splash- the dress picks it up.     Underhelmed in person, returned

    Was a little loose, and the cutout feels like it either needs to be larger or not there at all. The rouching was not falling right across the belly and looked a little baggy there, not sure if a steam would help, but it wasn't helping me feel my best as a potential bridesmaid dress. One positive is that at 5'7" I don't think I'd need a hem if I wore heels with a bit of a platform.

    Wanted to love it!

    I wanted to love this dress so much, but it just doesn't sit correctly on my body. If you have any hips at all, I think the drop waist on this might not be for you. I can do up the zipper just fine, and it feels comfortable, but the zipper starts so low on the hip, and it bunches up drastically whenever I move. Unfortunately, the top layer of the skirt is quite sheer, so you can see the bunching and that it doesn't fit right.
