    Had mine altered!

    Overall, this was a great concept for a dress, BUT I chose to have mine altered to add on velvet buttons and take out the poofy-hips that were not at all flattering on me. And after I made these changes, I couldn't be happier! When initially trying the dress on (pre-alterations), I could immediately see why other reviews had experienced the dress falling apart (seams coming undone) around the waist, because that's exactly what began to happen, further showing me the need for a professional seamstress to adjust/secure everything. So, for the price, Lulus really could have done better here. Especially if they had taken the time to add in boning to really make it appear like a corset at the top.     Do not buy!

    I wore this dress for 3 hours with no issues, then I unzipped and rezipped this dress to use the restroom. About 10 minutes after that, I sat down, and the zipper completely busted. I checked all of my measurements, and the dress was my size. The dress was not tight and zipped fine at first. I am still not sure how the dress ripped.     Definitely some cheaper quality parts

    I absolutely LOVE this idea dress, and I think for the most part the fabric is okay. However, the first time I tried it on, the zipper tore off the dress. I wasn't trying to force it to fit either. For the price of this dress, the quality overall is poor.

    Beautiful dress!

    This is a beautiful dress for the price! I purchased it along with a few others and while I ended up ultimately passing on it in favor of a dress that was more seasonally appropriate, I felt that the quality of this dress was quite impressive. I feel that it runs slightly tight through the chest and ribcage area. I am small-chested so it wasn't enough to cause the need to size up, but it is something to note.

    the perfect dress for a winter event

    I wore this dress to a winter wedding and it was perfect. The fit is exactly as pictured. The straps can be adjusted and tied at various lengths. The fabric and length are classy.

    Not Quite Right

    The dress was just not quite what I expected. The dress is unlined. The fabric is rather lightweight, so it doesn't have the weight that the image conveys. There didn't seem to be enough pleating in the waist either for the skirt to drape properly. Personally, there was a little too much space in the chest/top, and the fabric did not lay well. The fabric had a lovely pattern and sheen though - just wish it had some more weight.

    They weren't kidding that the material has no stretch...

    I was really excited when I first ordered this dress because of the color and style. However, I was severely disappointed when I received it because it didn't fit my chest. Since the material had no give, I couldn't pull the top up very high, so it was a lot more revealing than expected.
