Fun dress for any occasion

Fell apart first time wearing
I bought this dress for our Christmas vacation in the Caribbean. I packed it with the tags still on. I cut the tags off to wear for the first time to Christmas dinner. We went to dinner in our resort, and within a very small amount of time, wearing it, I looked down, and the seam across my chest had ripped open, creating holes! Pretty but itchy
I get a lot of compliments wearing this dress, but I always take it off as soon as I get home because it's pretty itchy. I am overly sensitive to itchy fabrics, so don't let it deter you if you're not. It's quite flattering. - Product Rating: 4 of 5 stars

This dress is very flattering. I'm postpartum and was nervous about a "clingy" dress, but I liked the pattern, so I went by the size chart and got an XXL. It is true to size. I could have gotten away with an XL because it's so stretchy, but it is true to size, so I'm confused why some reviews state that it runs small.
